The death has occurred of
Charles (Charlie) Donovan
On August 22nd 2023, Charlie passed away peacefully at his home, beloved husband of Mary B. dear father of Anthony and Paul, loving grandfather of Ryan, Brooke, the late Bobby and Mai. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, Paul’s partner Bridget, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Paul and Bridget’s home in Gloun (Eircode P75 P862) on Wednesday, Aug. 23th, from 4pm to 8pm with vigil prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Kilcrohane on Thursday, Aug. 24th, at 2pm (to view live stream click here) followed by burial in Kilcrohane Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to West Cork Palliative Care c/o Bantry General Hospital.
