Charlie Clusker of Harrow, London and formerly of O'Growney Terrace, Navan, Co. Meath has passed away, peacefully in his 89th year, following a bravely fought illness in the tender care of the doctors, nurses, and care staff of Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow, London. February 5th 2026.
Predeceased by his wife Angela (McTiernan) and his sister Doris Horgan (Athea and Navan). Charlie will be sadly missed by his sister Frances Duffy (Wicklow), his nieces and nephews Karen , Terence, Susan, Rachel, Ciara, Niall, Donna, Katie-Jane, Patrick, Amy, and his many grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and friends in Navan and his wide circle of wonderful neighbours and friends in Harrow. Charlie worked as a Snr. Radio Officer in the Merchant Navy, then as a Snr sound Engineer at the BBC where he also built lifelong friends.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. John Fisher Church, Harrow, on February 20th 2026, followed by cremation. Burial of ashes will take place in the family grave at Ardmulchan Cemetery, Co. Meath, this Friday (27th February) following 10am Mass in St. Mary's Church, Navan. (The service may be viewed on navanparish.ie).
