The death has occurred of
CHARLES (Charlie) McCarthy
McCARTHY (Skibbereen and formerly of Carrigeens, Leap): on November 17th 2018, peacefully in the excellent care of the Nurses and Staff at Skibbereen Community Hospital, surrounded by his family. CHARLES (Charlie), Chapel Lane. Beloved husband of Chrissie (nee Collins), much loved father to Martin, Shelia (Hourihane), Sean, Charles, Kevin and Christopher. Adored grandfather to Jamie, Sean, Dylan, Shauna, Ryan and Emma. Deeply regretted by his loving wife and family, grandchildren, son in law Jason, daughter in law Grit, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Hurley’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Sunday 18th November 2018 from 4pm followed by removal at 6pm to St Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen. Requiem Mass on Monday 19th November 2018 at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Patricks Cemetery Coronea.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Skibbereen Community Hospital.
