The death has occurred of
Charles George (Charlie) Lunny
LUNNY, Retired Sea Captain and Principal of BIM Training Centre, Derrymihan, Castletownbere, Co.Cork & Craigneuk, Scotland on the 16th March 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the staff in Bantry General Hospital, and previously in the exceptional care of staff of Castletownbere Community Hospital, and in the loving care of his wife Moira and his Home Helps, Charles George (Charlie).
Beloved husband of Moira Cameron Lunny and brother of Josephine (Jones), Patricia (Love), Kate (Esson), and the late John, Jacqueline, and Maureen.
Reposing in Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Tuesday (18th) from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by prayers.
A Cremation service will take place in The Island Crematorium in Ringaskiddy at 12 midday on Wednesday (19th).

Funeral cortège will leave the funeral home at 9.30am.
