Charles Kilroy

The death has occurred of Charles Kilroy, Late of Mount Merrion, Dublin and Kilkieran, Connemara. Charlie passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on 26th January 2024 in Manila, the Philippines, surrounded by his five sons.

Beloved husband of Mary (deceased) and father of Patrick, Karl, Garrett, Darragh and Declan.

He is deeply missed by his sons, daughters-in-law, Lisa, Suzanne (deceased), Neeta, Trisha and Irada, his siblings Peter (deceased), Phil, Aelish and Frances, and his grandchildren Alex, Kate, Natasha, Ise, Max, Anna, Chris, Angshu, Roman and Victor, and his many friends in Dublin, Kilkieran and Chicago.

Removal on Wednesday, 7th February 2024, 5.00 PM at the Church of St Therese, Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin.

Reposing on Thursday, 8th February in Mylotte’s Funeral Home, Carna, Connemara, Co. Galway 6.00p.m. to 7.30pm followed by removal thereafter to Kilkieran Church. Funeral Mass on Friday, 9th February 2024, at 12.00 PM at St Ciaran’s Church, Kilkieran, Connemara, Co. Galway followed by burial in the local cemetery.
