Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore and previously in the wonderful care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington. Deeply regretted by his loving wife May, daughters Rena (Catherine), Arlene and Anita, son Dermot and their partners, cherished granddaughters Avril and Coleen, brothers Barney and Seamus, sisters Maureen, Betty and Nuala, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Tuesday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal from his son Dermot's residence Avondale, Portarlington on Wednesday morning at 11:10am arriving St Brochan's Church Bracknagh for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Mary's Cemetery, Raheen.
