The death has occurred of
CHARLIE MCCARTHY
McCarthy (Congress Road, Turners Cross, Cork) On September 26th 2015, peacefully in the presence of his loving family at St. Joseph’s 1, St. Finbarr’s Hospital, Charlie (late of the Irish Examiner), beloved husband of the late Maureen (nee Pulfer) and loving father of Teresa (O’Driscoll), Kevin, Seán, Anne-Marie (Duggan) and the late Charles. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Ted and Trevor, daughters-in-law Peggy and Geraldine, grandchildren, brothers Jack, Paddy and David, sisters Bernie and Nora, sister-in-law Sheila, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at St. Finbarr’s Hospital Chapel on Monday (28th) from 5.00pm until removal at 6.30pm to Christ King Church, Turners Cross. Requiem Mass at 1.00pm on Tuesday (29th), followed by burial at St. Finbarr’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
