Charlie (Sonny) McCarthy

McCarthy (Ballyhandle, Innishannon) on January 21st 2022 peacefully. Charlie (Sonny), beloved husband of the late Kitty (nee O'Leary) and dear father of Bernie, Rose, Tony, Carmel, Mary, Brian and Margo and brother of Timmy, Eily, Bridget, Mary and the late Denny, Jane, Neilie, Joan, Betty, Sheila and Peggy.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brother, sisters, daughters-in-law Máire and Teresa, sons-in-law Paul, Damien, William, Tadgh and Terence, his adored 18 grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Charlie's Funeral Cortege will leave his home on Monday morning at 11am approx. and will travel via Twohigs Cross, Crossbarry, Barna, turning left at Butlers Cross and Innishannon Village en route to St. Mary's Church, Innishannon for Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be livestreamed on www.corklivestream.com/funerals, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
