Chris CANTY

CANTY, Cahir, Ballineen, on December 3rd, 2024, in his 97th year, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital. CHRIS, beloved husband of the late Mary (née O’Sullivan) and loving father of Fintan and Regina (Carroll).

Deeply regretted by his son, daughter, daughter-in-law Alice (Fleming), son-in-law Francis, grandchildren Bryan, Danielle, Rory, John-Fintan, Olivia and Molly, brother Denis and his wife Breda, sisters-in-law Joan (Coakley) and Mary (Canty), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by his brothers John-Joe and Humphrey and sister Joan (Walsh).

Reposing at O’Mahony’s Funeral Home, Enniskeane on Thursday evening (5th Dec.) from 7.00pm until prayers at 8.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 12noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane,

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
