Ahern (née Long) Chris (Christine), (late of Aylesbury, Tallaght and formerly of St Teresa’s Gardens, Dublin 8) 12th November 2024, passed suddenly at home. Beloved wife of the late Eddie, loving mam of Michelle, Edward, Ray, Crista and Christopher and adored nanny to Jack, Declan, Rachel, Aaron, Craig, Cillian, Dorieann, Dara, Tadhg and her great-grandchildren Dylan and Sam. Predeceased by her brother Kit, her sisters Kathleen and Pat and her beloved grandson Cian.

Chris will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Ian and Dave, daughters-in-law Sorcha and Mary, brother Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home on Sunday (17th November) from 1pm to 4pm, (House private outside of these hours please). A Celebration of Chris’s life will take place on Monday (18th November) at 2:30pm in the Temple, Newlands Cross Crematorium.
