Chris Durkin

The death has occurred, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, of Chris Durkin, Ballincurry, Curry, Co. Sligo, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his daughter Sinead.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Eileen, Son Brendan, Chicago, Daughters Imelda Regan, Ballaghaderreen, Aileen O’Hara, Ballincurry, Colette Surlis, Tourlestrane, Fiona Henry, Tubbercurry and Carmel McDermott, Co. Cavan, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his eighteen grandchildren, sister Margaret, nieces & nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at St. Therese’s Funeral Home, Curry Village, Curry, Co. Sligo F91 NY30 on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m.   Removal from his home on Wednesday, June 22nd, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Curry, for funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m.   Burial afterwards in Bunnacrannagh Cemetery.
