Chris Kenny

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Chris Kenny, on the 23rd of February 2025 who passed peacefully, surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Mercy University Hospital Cork.

Chris, Dearly beloved partner of Margo (O’Keeffe), Adored father of Carol, Anne, Deirdre and their mother Ber. Beloved son of the late Mary and Michael.

Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Ruby, Cillian, Jamie, Daragh, Sully, sons-in-law, David, Martin, sister Pauline, brother Tom, sister-in-law, Joan and his late brother-in-law Mark Hanley, nieces, extended family, great neighbours and large circle of friends.

Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Rd, Mayfield, Cork, on Tuesday, the 25th of February from 5-6pm with prayers at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 26th, at Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield, at 10:30am, followed by Cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
