The death has occurred of
CHRISTIE GAMBLE
GAMBLE (Evergreen Street and formerly of The Lough, Cork): On February 25th 2026, unexpectedly, at Cork University Hospital, CHRISTIE (singer). Beloved father of David, Mary and Susan and dear brother of Jane (Duggan) and Rose (Conlon).
Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Ann, sons-in-law Richard and Tahir, grandchildren, nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews and their families, relatives and a large circle of friends especially his Sunday night dancing group at The Deanrock.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Friday (February 27th) from 2pm until 3pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday (February 28th) at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough which will be live streamed HERE
Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium.
