Christina (Chris) Doona (née Breen), Shanara Lower, Kilgobnet.

 

Chris passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 14th 2026.

 

Predeceased by her husband Michael Joe Doona and her sister Joan O’Donoghue.

 

Sadly missed by her loving son Francis Doona, daughter Fiona Doona, and her adored granddaughter Erica Doona; Francis’s partner Tunde; her brothers Pat and John Breen, sister Phila, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence V93W529 Sunday evening (Jan. 18th) from 2pm - 5pm.

Funeral arriving Monday morning (Jan. 19th) to St. James' Church, Killorglin for Requiem Mass at 10.30am.

Burial afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Beaufort.
