Christina (Chrissie) McGrath

The death has occurred of Christina (Chrissie) McGrath – Newtown Lawns, Mullingar and formerly of Ballinafid, Multyfarnham, Co Westmeath – February 21, 2025 (peacefully) in the company of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar and previously at Our Lady’s Manor, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Christina.
Beloved mother of Jason and James, dear grandma of Shannon, Kerry, Lorcan, Warren, Daniel and Seán, Henry and Ben, great-grandma of Ivy and Noah and loving sister of Theresa and Johnny. Chrissie will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her daughters-in-law Lorraine and Zelda, her nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 10 am to 11.30 am followed by Removal to St Nicholas' Church Multyfarnham for 12 noon Requiem Mass. A private cremation will take place.
