The death has occurred of Christina “Golly” O’Brien, née Coughlan, Pound Street, Birr, Co. Offaly, passed away peacefully on July 6th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in the care of Birr Community Nursing Unit. Christina will be forever loved and deeply missed by her husband Michael, daughters Lisa and Sinead, son James, son in law Joe, grandchildren Michael, Michaella, Victoria, Dara, Katie, Lorcan and Ruairí, her brothers and sisters, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Christina’s warmth kindness and deep faith will be missed by all who knew her.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Boyd’ s Funeral Home, Birr, on Tuesday evening from 5pm. - 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 10.45am. for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
