It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Christina Kiely (née Carey) Colbert Avenue, Janesboro, Limerick and formerly of O'Callaghan Avenue, Kileely, Limerick.

On August 26th 2025, peacefully, at St. John’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Christopher, parents Sarah and John and siblings Gerry, Thomas, Joseph, Michael, Maggie and Francis.

Very deeply regretted by her daughters Elaine (Lowe) and Deirdre (Fitzgerald), sons John, Edward, Christopher, Eugene and Paul, Sister Roseann, sisters in law, brothers-in-law, sons-in-law Ger and Brian, daughters-in-law Franky, Rose, Joan and Audrey, grandchildren and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Thursday, 28th August, from 4.30pm to 6pm.

Requiem Mass at Our Lady Queen Of Peace Church, Janesboro, Friday, 29th August, at 11am funeral afterwards to Castlemungret Cemetery.

Christina’s Funeral Cortége will pass the family residence after Mass, to enable neighbours and friends to pay their respects.

The Kiely Family would like to thank the Staff of St. John’s Hospital and to the Staff of St. Michael’s Nursing Home, Caherconlish for their exceptional care, support and kindness.
