Rooney, Christine (Chris), (née Gleeson) – 19th March 2026, (Thorndale Drive, Artane and formerly of Ballynanty, Limerick). Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Connolly Hospital. Beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of Alison, Janet and Carol. Predeceased by her parents Maureen and Tommy and brother Paddy. Very sadly missed by her daughters, son Declan and his wife Audrey, sisters Myra and Annette and brother Michael, grandchildren Jack, George and Harry, Jack's fiancée Kyrie, sons-in-law Dave, Tom and Jason, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff in The Laurel Ward at Connolly Hospital and Marymount Care Centre for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Chris.

Reposing at her daughter Janet's residence in Clonsilla on Friday 20th March from 5pm to 7pm. (House private at all other times)

Removal on Saturday morning 21st March to the Church of Our Lady of Consolation, Donnycarney arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery
