It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Christine McCarthy, surrounded by love and in the devoted care of the exceptional staff at Louth County Hospital. Christine now joins her beloved late husband Michael.

Christine was the cherished mother of Maura, Paul, Declan, and Keith. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her seven adored grandchildren Michael, Kelie, Sarah, Ciara, Wendy, Michael, and Conor, along with her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Her late son-in-law Philip and her daughters-in-law, Veronica, Mary and Lorraine.

Reposing at the family home, Homestead House, 22 Seatown Place, Dundalk A91 H365, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday.

The house will be private at all other times. Proceeding to St. Mary's Church, Knockbridge, for Mass on Friday at 11:00AM

followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Christine's kindness, warmth, hard work and never ending love touched the lives of all who knew her.

May her gentle soul sleep soundly.
