MURPHY (Pope’s Road, Cork):On December 17th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the Mercy University Hospital, CHRISTINE (Née Canty) beloved wife of the late Barry, loving mother of Donal, Eileen and Áine, adored grandmother of Jessica, Rebecca, Jenny, Conor, Anna and Christopher, dear sister of Denis, Ted and the late Josie.

Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Russell and Andrew, daughter-in-law Lorraine, sisters-in-law Rena and Mary, extended family, beloved nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh O’Connor Ltd. on Sunday (December 21st) from 3.00pm to 4.00pm

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Monday (December 22nd) in The North Cathedral which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Bandon.
