Christopher (Christy) Brien

Christopher (Christy) Brien late of Bentley Avenue, Bray, Co. Wicklow. Died peacefully surrounded by his loving children in St. Vincent’s University Hospital on Tuesday 21st October 2025. Predeceased by his loving wife Rose (née O'Rourke), his parents Christopher and Annie, his brother Jimmy, sisters Betty, Mary and Pat. Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Jacqueline, son Christopher, daughter-in-law Niamh, grandchildren Bernard, Fionn and Sorcha, great-grandson Brodie, sister Nancy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Annabeg Nursing Home for the kind and compassionate care provided over the past two years.

We are also deeply grateful to the neighbours in Bentley for their many years of friendship.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98 R673) on Thursday, 23rd October, from 6pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning, 24th October, at 10:40am, walking from the funeral home (weather permitting) to St. Fergal’s Church for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment at Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.
