The death has occurred of
Christopher (Christy) Buckley
BUCKLEY (Rossbarra Avenue, Deerpark, Cork): On January 9th, 2026, peacefully, at the Cork University Hospital, CHRISTOPHER (Christy), loving son of the late Joan and Timothy Buckley, cherished brother of Caroline (O’Callaghan), brother-in-law of Adrian and uncle of Oisín and Nessa.
Sadly missed by his loving family, his friends and family in Horizons (COPE Foundation) especially all his friends and the staff in Rossbarra and Glasheen Bay.
Reposing at Riverview Chapel, COPE Foundation, Montenotte on Tuesday (January 13th) with prayers at 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday (January 14th) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to Clonfert Cemetery, Newmarket, Co. Cork.
