DERWIN Christopher (Christy) (Milltown, Dublin 14 and formerly of Donore Avenue, Dublin 8 and Hollyfield Buildings, Rathmines, Dublin 6) January 22, 2026, peacefully at St. James’s Hospital. Beloved husband of Rita and loving father of Mark, Alan, Christopher, Debbie and Karl. He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, sons-in-law Fergal and Rodrigo, daughters-in-law Karen, Tanya and Yun, grandchildren Lauren, Seán, Oisín, Ciarán, Alex, Denise, Adam, Marko, Daniel, Kayleigh, Isabella and Jake, great-grandchildren, Rylan and Rhys, brothers Johnny and George, extended family and friends. Also remembering his deceased brothers and sister Martin, Tommo and Margaret.

Reposing on Sunday, January 25, from 3pm until 5pm, and on Monday, January 26, from 6pm to 8pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Dolphin’s Barn, SCR (or view on Google Maps by clicking this map link)

Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, January 27, at 10am in in the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, followed by burial at Mount Venus Cemetery, Rockbrook, Rathfarnham.
