Christopher (Christy) FLYNN

Late of Albert College, Dublin 9 and Graigue Court, Poppintree and formerly of Marrowbone Lane Flats, Dublin 8. Peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Bernard’s Ward, Mater Hospital.  Beloved husband of Carmel and loving Dad of Keith and David. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Sabrina (and her husband Matthew and mother Joan), Keith (Bon), Shannon and Samantha, great-grandsons Keifer and Rocco, son-in-law Roberto, daughter-in-law Kerrie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Monday, February 3rd,  from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Ballymun Civic Centre, Ballymun Road (next to Garda Station). Removal on Monday evening from the Funeral Home to arrive at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, February 4th, at 10am, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations instead to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland, Temple Road, Blackrock, Co. Dublin or at www.alzheimer.ie.  House private. A special word of thanks to the staff of Highfield Nursing Home, Whitehall for their wonderful care of Christy.
