The death has occurred of
Christopher (Christy) Gilbert
Gilbert (Glasnevin, Dublin 11 and Clonsilla. Formerly, Chief Superintendent in Land Registry, Dept. of Justice, Irish Ordnance Survey Office and Irish Defence Forces) October 12th., 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, Christopher Jnr. (Christy), beloved husband of the late Marcella and predeceased by his brother Jude, sisters Phil and Carmel and niece Helen; sadly missed by his much loved brother Terry, sisters Maureen, Imelda and Maree, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his old family home in Clonsilla on Friday evening (October 17th) between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning (October 18th) to St. Mochta’s Church, Porterstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Clonsilla Churchyard.
