Christopher (Christy) Kearney

The death has occurred, in his 76th year, of Christopher (Christy) Kearney, Main Street, Castlebellingham, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Christy, beloved husband of Doreen (née Campbell) and loving father of Brenda, Brian, Christopher and Damien. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends of the family.

A private family funeral for Christy will take place, due to Government advice on public gatherings, with numbers limited to 10. Removal from his home at 10.30am on Monday morning to Saint Mary's Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, which can be viewed live at

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Christy, socially distanced, on the route from his home to the church. Those who would like to attend but cannot due to Level 5 restrictions, may leave a personal message in the Condolence section below.
