Christopher (Christy) Mooney

Mooney, Christopher (Christy) East Wall and formerly of Donnycarney / late of Irish Army and Dublin Bus, Clontarf – 11th March 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the Mater Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Lily, much loved father of Keith, Paul and Derek. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and sons, brother Richard, daughters-in-law Ruth, Susan and Kim, grandchildren, great grandchild, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

A special word of thanks to the staff in St. Francis Hospice Raheny, the Mater Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital and his carer Charlene.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Sunday (March 15) from 3pm until 5pm. Requiem Mass at 10am on Monday (March 16) in St. Joseph’s Church, East Wall, funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donation in lieu to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.
