Christopher (Christy) Redmond, Garoon, Mountmellick and formerly Ballygillaheen, Rosenallis.

Christy passed away peacefully following a short illness surrounded by his loving family in St James hospital Dublin on Friday 3rd of April 2026.

 

Predeceased by his parents Christy and Josie Redmond.

Survived by his broken hearted wife Tina, his adored children Shona and Thomas, his treasured grandchildren Patrick, Tina, Peter, Tom, Harry and Bobby.

 

Sadly missed by his son-in-law Mark and daughter-in-law Grainne, his siblings Tom, Joan, Joe, Felix, Monica and Raymond, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

 

Rest In Peace.

 

Christy will repose in his home (R32P8X3) on Saturday from 3pm. Recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal from his home on Monday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Josephs Church for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St. Josephs Cemetery.

 

House Private on Sunday.
