Christopher (Christy) REID
REID, Christopher (Christy), late of Ballinteer, passed away peacefully on the 24th of May 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the care of the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved husband of Marie and loving father of Valerie, Janice, Annette and David. Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Bridget, sister Ann and brother Sean; he will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren Peter, Derek, Alan, Alex, James, Aiden and Daniel, sons-in-law Tommy, Joe and Tim, daughter-in-law Connie, his brother Seamus, sister-in-law Claire, nieces, nephews, and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Christy will be reposing at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, Eden Centre, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, on Wednesday (May 28th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning (May 29th) to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer, arriving for 10am Mass, followed by a 12.15pm Cremation Service in the Victorian Chapel, Mt.
