Christopher (Christy) Reid

The family of Christy Reid are sadly sharing the news of his death with you. Christy completed his life’s journey in the great care of the nurses and staff at Galway University Hospital on Tuesday, 16th December 2025. Predeceased by his beloved parents Mary and James, and by his brother Paddy and sister Mary.

He is mourned and will always be remembered by Paddy’s daughter Susan Mary, her husband Andrew and children Jared and Paige (New Zealand), nephew Peter, his children Nicola, Annette and Derick, lovely neighbours and friends.

May God and his holy mother,

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Christy at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest with Paddy in Rahoon cemetery. Mass will be livestreamed. See the link below.
