Christopher Fabie

Christopher Fabie, of Evanston IL USA and formerly Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, passed away suddenly on August 12th. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Derbhile Fabie (née Maher), and his sister, Tori Fabie Warms. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephew, Zoe and Carly Warms, Aisling and Orlaith Kilkelly, and Killian Wierczynski, and was deeply loved by his sisters- and mother-in-law in Ireland (Róisín, Clíona & Kathleen Maher).

A gifted musician, educator, and avid cyclist, Christopher’s life was defined by creativity, kindness, and deep connection to family and friends. His passion for music and teaching touched countless lives and he will be dearly missed. His Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday August 20th at Donnellan Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd, Skokie IL, with an Irish memorial planned for later this year.
