Christopher (Johnny Christopher) Byrne

Christopher Byrne (Johnny Christopher) late of Tallaght, Dublin 24 and formerly of Terenure, Dublin 6W, and The Liberties, Dublin 8, February 23rd, 2026, peacefully at Tallaght Hospital.

Christopher will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving children Gary, Ruth and Kim, daughter-in-law Geraldine, grandchildren Anthony, Ruby-May and Valentine, sisters Ann and Pauline, late brothers Donal and Tony, brother-in-law Tommy, sisters-in-law Margaret and Christine, nieces Sinead, Jennifer and Edel, nephews Leo, Christopher, Mark and Eoin and their respective partners and children, cousins, friends, neighbours, and fellow musicians who were lifelong friends and on-stage family. Remembering Patti, and Wally.

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 this Thursday, 26th February 2026 from 5pm to 7pm. A service to celebrate Christopher's life will take place on Friday, 27th February in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 2.15pm followed by Cremation.
