Christopher (Kit) Byrne

Christoher (Kit) Byrne of Monteith Park, Kilcoole and late of Irish Rail who passed away in his 92nd year on Thursday 1st May 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the staff at the Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home. Dearly loved husband of the late Martha (née Bradley) and much loved father of Susan, Christy, John, Andrew and Colm. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Emma, Joanne, Paula and Matthew, great-grandson Cillian and Kit, sister Patricia, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Kit will repose at the William Doyle Funeral Home Kilcoole from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Removal on Saturday to St. Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole arriving for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm after which Kit will be laid to rest with Martha in Kilquade New Cemetery.
