Christopher McConnell
The death has occurred, peacefully, of Christopher McConnell, 2 Crossakiel Heights and formerly of St. Bridget's Terrace, Kells, age 46 in the loving care of the dedicated staff of St. Francis's Hospice, Blanchardstown, following a long illness, which Christopher accepted with great dignity. Christopher is survived by his heartbroken mother Lilly, sister Mary, brother in law Jesse, nephews Mason and David,uncle Anthony,aunt Mary, cousins and a wide circle of relatives and true friend Lavinie.
Christopher's remains will leave from St. Bridget's Terrace tomorrow, Thursday, 11th March, at 4.30pm, via Canon Street, to arrive at St. Colmcille's Church, Kells, for 5pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, 12th March, at 11am which can be viewed on https://www.kellsparish.ie/our-parish/webcam/ followed by burial in St. Colmcille's Cemetery. Funeral Mass Private.
Christopher will be fondly remembered as a shy young man, with a great skill at playing handball, which he enjoyed for many years at Kells Handball Club. He was a former employee of Glennon's Hardware in Kells and was highly respected. He had great love for animals and his little dog Jasper was always his companion.
