Christopher Moran

Our beloved Chris (retired An Garda Síochána) passed away very peacefully on January 19th 2026 in the company of his loving family and in the great care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.

Loving husband of Veronica and cherished father of Daragh, Nicola and Brónagh.

Chris will be very sadly missed and always remembered by his wife and family, his treasured granddaughter Nessa, daughter-in-law Tracy, sisters Gretta O’Leary (Skerries) and Alacoque McCormack (Ballinode), family circle, kind neighbours, many friends and former colleagues at An Garda Síochána.

Remembering also all the deceased members of the Moran and Noone families.

Reposing at Gilsenans Funeral Home (N91 K660) on Thursday January 22nd from 4 pm concluding with prayers at 6 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 23rd at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Marlinstown. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at the link below.
