Christopher MURRAY

MURRAY, Christopher (Killiney, Co. Dublin), Professor Emeritus, UCD School of English, Drama and Film, died peacefully March 25, 2024, after a short illness, at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Kate). Loving father of Paul, Felicity, and Chris. Cherished grandfather of Orianna, Nicholas, Sam, Max, Madeline, and Pearse. Sadly missed by his sisters Mary and Sheila, brother-in-law Liam, son-in-law Stephen, daughters-in-law Miriam and Claire, and by extended family and friends.

Reposing Tuesday (March 26) in Quinn's of Glasthule from 7pm to 8.30pm. Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Killiney, arriving for 10am on Wednesday, March 27, and can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/johnstownourlady followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
