In the early hours of Saturday morning, Christy died very peacefully at home with his dearly loved wife Agnes and their family by his side. Predeceased by his brothers Thomas (Tommy Joe) and Paddy, sisters Mary and Josie. Deeply mourned by his wife Agnes and much-loved children Bernadette (Faller), Christopher and Olivia, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in law Sandra. grandchildren John, Keith Aisling and Sinead, sisters Kathleen McHale (UK) and Eileen Coll (UK), nephews and nieces, relatives and friends particularly his neighbours in Galway and Knock .

Funeral arrangements

Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - Reposing at St. Anthony’s Room, within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra H91 W0H4, from 5.30 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, April 2, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Christy at 11 a.m. and following Mass, he will be laid to rest in Knock cemetery, Co. Mayo.
