CHRISTY CASHMAN (Ballinrostig, Whitegate). On October 19th 2025 peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at Oaklodge Nursing Home, Churchtown South.

 

Beloved husband of Patricia, loving and much-loved father of Auveen, Siobhan, Michele and Una, cherished Grandad of Eva and David, Eoin and Darragh, Meg and Cathal, loving brother to Phil.

 

Christy will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, sister, sons in law Colin, John and Mike, dear nephews and nieces, sisters-in-law Nuala and Carmel and extended family and his many friends.

 

Christy is pre-deceased by his brothers Jim, Pad, and Tom and his sisters Mary, Christina, Bridgie and Teresa.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Guileen Coastguard Unit.

Christy will be lying in repose in his daughter’s home in Ballinrostig, Whitegate, from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday October 21st 2025.

 

Funeral Mass will take place in St Mary’s Church, Ballinrostig at 11 am on Wednesday October 22nd 2025. Burial afterwards in All Saints Cemetery, Whitegate.
