Christy Connell, Curkish, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan died on the 5th December 2023, peacefully surrounded by his family in Kilmainhamwood Nursing Home in his 96th year. Predeceased by his wife Mona and daughter June and his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his loving family Tom, Kathleen, John and Sharon, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his daughter Kathleen's residence (A82 PN70) on Wednesday 6th December from 2pm - 8pm. Removal on Thursday at 10:40am to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. The funeral mass can be viewed live at St. Anne's Church Webcam.
