The death has occurred of
Christy Egan
Egan (late of Rush, Co. Dublin and Mervue, Co. Galway) - Feb 7, 2023, (peacefully) after a short illness, in the tender care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital and Loughshinny Nursing Home, Christy, loving husband of the late Bríd and loving father of Ger and Marie (Ryan). He will be sadly missed by his son, daughter, daughter in law Grainne, son in law Martin, grandchildren Ciaran, Cian, Dearbhla, Eoghan, Aileen, Aoife and Niamh, and their partners, his great granddaughter Sophie, sisters Winnie and Margaret, brothers in law Padraig and Eamon, nieces, with special mention to Noreen and Catherine, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, neighbours and friends, with special mention to his dear friends Frank and Mona.
May Christy Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his home in Rush on Wednesday (8th) evening from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Friday morning at 11am in the Church of The Holy Family, St James' Road, Mervue, Galway followed by burial in The New Cemetery, Bohermore. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Society of St Vincent de Paul or charity of choice.
