The death has occurred of Christy Harrington (retired Garda Sergeant), late of Rocklodge, Carrigrohane, Co. Cork, and formerly of Lackavane, Adrigole, West Cork, who passed peacefully at his residence on 17th June 2021. Sadly missed by his loving wife Joan, daughter Anne, sons Dermot, Pat and Kevin, daughters-in-law, Sheila, Mary and Clare, his sister Margaret, brothers Paddy and Liam, grandchildren Roisin, Jack, Siobhan, Ronan, Cormac, Eva, Culann and Sheola Mae. Predeceased by his brothers John and Dermot. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours.

Christy’s funeral cortege will leave his residence on Saturday (19th June) at 9.30am to arrive at St Senan’s Church, Cloghroe for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial at St John's Cemetery, Ovens. Mass will be restricted in accordance with government guidelines. (50 people). Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice, Cork. House Private please.
