Christy McGovern

McGovern, Christy, 6th September 2025, late of Cashel Road, Crumlin, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of the ICU and previously the CCU unit of St. James Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Maura, and adored dad to Susann, Julie and Christopher. Christy will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren Liam, Karl, Kadie, Ethan and Isabel, sons-in-law Aidan and Emanuel, daughter-in-law Tracey, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Tuesday (9th September) from 3pm to 5pm. A Celebration of Christy’s life will take place on Wednesday (10th September) at 10am in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, followed by Cremation.
