Christy passed away on Thursday 19th February 2026, in his 91st year at The Residence Nursing Home Portlaoise, ex-porter of the General Hospital Portlaoise. Sadly, missed by his sisters Mary (Brennan) and Nan (Dunne), sisters-in-law Annette and Betty (Rafter), nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Prayers on Friday evening 20th February in St. Fintan’s Church, Raheen (eircode R32WT44) at 6.0’clock. Requiem Mass on Saturday afternoon 21st February at 2.0’clock, followed by Interment in the adjoining Cemetery.
