Christy Ring

Christy Ring, Old Court East, Midleton & formerly of Cloyne, on February 13th , 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the staff at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. Christy, beloved husband of Jacqui (nee McLellan, Castlemartyr), much loved dad of Jess, Amy and Leah. Beloved grandad of Penelope, Charlie, Fiadh, Sadhbh, Maggie and Rory. Son of the late Paddy Joe and Ann Ring and brother-in-law of the late Gerard Owers.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Matt Burgess, Tadgh Crowley and Declan Cotter, his brother Pat, sisters Maura (Sr. Anne Marie), Dolores, Eucharia, Colette and Estelle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Christy will Repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton P25X382 on Monday (17th) from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Reception into St. Colman’s Church, Cloyne on Tuesday for 12.30 p.m. Funeral Mass followed by 3 p.m. Cremation at The Island Crematorium.
