Christy Wall

Christy Wall (St Riochs Street, Kilkenny City and formerly of St. Joseph’s Road, Kilkenny City) peacefully after a long illness in the excellent care of all the staff in Tinnypark Nursing Home on Sunday 14th July 2024. Predeceased by his parents Christy and Bridget, son Eric, brothers Kieran and Andy, sisters Maura, Phyllis, Kitty and Margaret. Christy will be deeply missed by his devoted, loving and caring wife Ann (nee McGrath) and much loved father of Christy, Tony, David, Shona and Mark. Greatly missed by his daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brothers Sean and Paddy, nephews and nieces, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

MAY CHRISTY REST IN PEACE

Christy will repose in Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City (R95 KR20) on Tuesday 16th July from 5pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (17th) morning at 11am in St. Mary’s Cathedral followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery.

The funeral cortege will pass Christy’s residence enroute to Foulkstown Cemetery for neighbours and friends who may wish to show their respect.
