Ciara Byrne

Ciara Anne Byrne, 10th May 2004 ~ 30th May 2024.

Ciara Byrne has died as a result of a tragic river rafting accident near Fort Collins, Colorado. Ciara was a student and about to start her undergraduate degree in psychology at Colorado State University this autumn. She also worked part time as a pediatric dental assistant.

Any interaction with Ciara was defined by her wit, sense of humour, and kindness. She loved to spend time with family and friends, always finding new experiences together. No words can express this profound loss; her family is heartbroken. Ciara knew how much she was, and is, deeply loved.

Ciara is survived by her parents, Peter and Melissa Byrne and older sister Kelsey Byrne of Fort Collins,CO; grandparents Kathleen Weber and Nat Goodhartz of Hilton, NY; Allen E. and Suzanne Weber of Fort Myers, Florida; aunts and uncles Myles and Aisling Byrne, and their children Rachel and Andrew, of Booterstown, Co. Dublin, Wendi Weber and Jon Foster and their children Bailey and Clayton of South Deerfield, Massachusetts.

A celebration of life will take place on June 18th at 4pm Mountain Time (IST -7 hours) at the Tapestry House, 3212 N Overland Trail, La Porte, Colorado 80535, USA. We hope all who attend will bring memories and photographs of our sweet and precious child; we want to see and hear them all.
