Ciara Gunning

The death has occurred of Ciara Gunning, Alderwood Park, Springfield, Dublin 24 and formerly of Athboy Co. Meath. Ciara passed away peacefully in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her grandparents Kit and Molly Comaskey, James and Marjorie Gunning. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, parents Seán and Margaret, brothers Rory and Alan (Jennifer), and her partner Luke, nieces Emma and Katie, aunts, uncles, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Rest In Eternal Peace Our Precious Angel.

Reposing in Mullens Funeral Home, Athboy (C15 KW58) on Thursday evening at 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Friday morning leaving her aunt Mary’s residence arriving for Funeral Mass in St. James’ Church, Athboy at 10am, followed by cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (H12 RF78) at 1pm.

The Gunning family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses and staff in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Dublin, in particular the Medical Oncology Team, Cara ward nursing team and Palliative Care for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion given to Ciara throughout her illness.
