Ciara Nichol (Smyth)

Ciara Nichol (Smyth) (Ashbourne and formerly Clontarf) has died on the 6th September 2023. In the attentive care of the staff of Connolly Hospital and Beaumont oncology, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness, bravely borne, at the age of 57. Loving wife of Ken and devoted mother of Maeve. Loving daughter of the late May and Brendan. Sadly missed by her husband, daughter, sisters Deirdre and Eilis, brothers-in-law David and Marc, goddaughter/niece, Níamh and nephew, Rónán, Aunt Allie and Uncle Fred, cousins, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours and great friends in Ashbourne Flower Club/AOIFA community and her friends in Ashbourne Craft Group.

Reposing at the residence of her sister Deirdre, 425 Clontarf Rd, Dublin (Eircode: D03 T251) on this Friday evening from 5pm until Saturday at 12pm and thereafter in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Freshford, County Kilkenny (Eircode: R95 C44T) from 5:30pm with Vigil prayers and Rosary from 6:30pm. Requiem Mass in the Church of St Lachtain, Freshford (Eircode: R95 K003) at 11am on Monday, September 11th 2023, followed by burial at Freshford Cemetery. House private, please.
