Ciaran (Smutzy) O’Rourke, Moneymore, Drogheda, Co. Louth. 8th December, 2025. Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, after an illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his parents John and Nellie.

Beloved husband of Linda and loving Dad to Gary, Suzanne, Lyndsey, Robert, Christine, Ciara and Shauna.

Smutzy will be sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, family partners, grandchildren Moya, Katie, Annamay, Kelsey, Leigh, Amelia, Cee Jay, Chloe, Calvin, Jayden, Kayleigh and Alfie, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Smutzy Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda A92 XN75 on Tuesday evening from 4pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 1.30pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church and can be viewed live at www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie with burial afterwards in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
