Cillian Courtney

Courtney, Cillian (Big Man), 22nd February 2026, (late of Tallaght); unexpectedly after a short illness following a road traffic accident, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital. Much loved and adored son of Kevin and Jennifer, cherished brother of Zareena, Brosnan, Bréianna and Stephen.

 

Cillian will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, sisters, nanny Nuala and grandad Dougo, uncle Patrick, aunty Linda and her partner Mark, cousins Robyn, Daniel and Stephen and his partner Isobelle, extended family, neighbours and friends and his four-legged pal Bruce.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Stewarts School and Breffni Cottage for the love, kindness and support they gave to Cillian over the years especially Jessie, Sean, Dave and his best buddy Jay.

 

Reposing at his dad’s home on Friday (27th February) from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (28th February) at 11 am in the Church of St Martin de Porres, Aylesbury, Tallaght, followed by Burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery arriving at approximately 1pm.
